E&I Assembly Technician

The Role

• Assembly of mechanical and electronic components 
• Function and pressure test assembled parts
• Record keeping in accordance with quality assurance standards
• Troubleshooting, testing, and non-conformance reporting
• Receipt of goods inwards 
• Preparation of equipment for shipment
• Calibration of pressure and acoustic sensing equipment. 
• Work closely with OEM’s to develop and maintain electrical surface and downhole tools.
• Maintain adequate stock levels to meet assembly targets
• Share opportunities for product improvement
• Maintain tidy workspace

 

Particulars

• This position is hands on, based in OnSpec DAQ's Toowoomba workshop.
• Monday - Friday
• 8am to 4.30pm 

 

The ideal candidates will be

• Safety leaders
• Mechanically minded
• Possess a strong work ethic and able to work unsupervised
• Possess a positive mental attitude
• Experienced in calibration of electronic instruments (desired but not essential)
• Experienced with RF or EM Technologies (desired but not essential)
