Qualified Plumber

Quantum Energy Heat Pumps is a leading energy efficient heat pump hot water provider and health sector water distribution specialists.

This is an exciting role for a plumber who enjoys travel, thrives on diversity of projects, relishes autonomy and working with a small team. Help us further build on an existing 30 year old brand that introduced heat pump hot water systems into the Australian market. 

The principal activities of Quantum are;

• Manufacture, distribution and installation of energy-efficient  domestic and commercial heat pump water hot water units across Australia and internationally. 
• Manufacture and installation of specialist sterilisation heat pump hot water systems for use in hospitals, and aged care facilities. 

You will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of our water treatment heat pump systems, on-site installation of commercial hot water units and also domestic hot water installations and service work throughout Australia. There is ample opportunity to help grow the business and your involvement.

We are primarily seeking a qualified plumber or 4th year apprentice to join our small team based at our southern suburbs warehouse. The role can be a full time salaried employee or on a contract basis.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• On site installation and commissioning of heat pump units
• Assembly/piping up heat pump hot water units in warehouse
• Warranty/service works fault finding (comprehensive training provided) both locally and rural
• Scheduled service runs to rural Queensland and Victoria

Job Skill Requirements

• Successful applicant would be required for interstate installation and service work for periods up to 14 days so  flexibility and availability to work away from home is a must.
• Ability to complete multiple functions in a timely manner
• Autonomous operator able to complete tasks with minimal assistance
• HR licence would be advantageous but not essentail
