Maintenance Fitter

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Rocklea, Queensland. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• On-going maintenance of machinery, equipment and services, to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage).
• Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime.
• Safety: Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic - Leading by example and setting standards for the health, safety and wellbeing.
• Quality: Drive a high-quality culture and standard.

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.
• Experience in Industry/Manufacturing, high speed, 24/7 production environments
• 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team player
• Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

What We Offer

• You will be paid in line with our Enterprise Agreement which is classification dependent. The estimated annualised salary is $80,000 base + superannuation for an average 37.5 hour working week, with opportunity to work overtime.   
• Additional hours worked outside of the rosters will be paid at overtime rates in line with our Enterprise Agreement.
