Illuminate Gardens offers hassle-free, professional garden maintenance, landscape design and installation services to clients across Perth Metropolitan Area, with most of our work situated between Applecross and Fremantle. As our demand for garden maintenance has increased we are on the hunt for the next leading hand to oversee our garden maintenance and mowing rounds with a small team of staff.

What the average day will look like:  

🌳Your itinerary will be planned out for you! Just check into your calendar to see the daily jobs list. 
🌳 Head out for garden maintenance rounds ranging from 1 to 3 sites a day 
🌳 Tasks including lawn mowing, hedging, topiary, pest and disease control/treatment, weeding, basic property cleaning, tree pruning (under 3m) while leading team of 1-2 staff
🌳 Complete seasonal tasks of tree pruning, rose pruning, mulching, perform irrigation checks and repairs, lawn coring and lawn renovations
🌳 Enforce safety procedures and measures for yourself and staff 
🌳 Act as a liaison between clients and managed staff to internal teams 
🌳 Ensure each job is completed at highest standard 
🌳 Responsible for equipment and reporting any damages/repairs needed to office staff 
🌳 Morning and evening set up/pack down of car and equipment
🌳 Identifying common pests and diseases and knowing what course of action to take to treat
🌳 Occasional days assisting on landscape installation sites including planting, soil prep, irrigation installation, site clearing and small paving jobs

 

The ideal applicant has: 

🔨Confidence using a range of powered and non powered garden tools and their basic upkeep 
🔨Hold a valid, manual drivers licence
🔨Experience driving with a trailer preferred but not required
🔨Available to work full time Mon-Fri
🔨Ability to take care of admin tasks, such as detailed note taking and client communications
🔨Certificate in horticulture (cert III) or equivalent and/or a minimum of 2 years industry experience
