Highly reputable, award winning electrician Neil Muller has provided residential and commercial electrical maintenance and construction services between Cairns and Palm Cove for 18 years and is the owner-operator of Remedy Electrical.

Position 1: Leading Hand
The Role:
- Permanent, full time, Mon-Fri position (on-call, overtime and flexible work hours available).
- Work unsupervised to complete electrical installation and maintenance works as allocated across both high end residential and commercial sites.
- Communicate with clients to establish and confirm works.
- Supervise, guide and delegate to an apprentice when provided.
- Keep your work van prepared, ensuring it is consistently stocked for common servicing and maintenance jobs.
To succeed you’ll need to:
- Enjoy working independently to problem solve and implement solutions.
- Know when to request advice/guidance to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Remember what it’s like to be an apprentice – show respect, patience and encouragement accordingly.
- Communicate clearly and productively with other on-site trades.
- Uphold Remedy’s reputation for friendly, professional, knowledgeable service with current and prospective clients.
- Demonstrate a high level of organisation and preparedness in the effective stocking of your work vehicle.
Position 2: 3rd – 4th Year Apprentice / Recently Qualified
The Role
- Permanent, Full-time, Mon-Fri (flexible work hours and overtime negotiable).
- Work under limited supervision to complete allocated tasks.
- Assist supervisors on site with two-man jobs.
- Communicate with clients to establish and confirm required works.
- Conduct stocktake of work vans.

Required:
- Current QLD Electrical Licence (Leading Hand position)
- Valid CPR/LVR Certificate
- Current White Card
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (Open License for Leading Hand role, Green P or Open License for Apprentice role)
- Basic hand tools
- Must be Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check
