AS A RISK AND COMPLAINCE SPECIALIST YOU WILL…
Responsible for identifying, addressing, and reducing risk, ensuring that the ongoing and future legal and regulatory obligations under various licenses, certifications, registrations and regulations are fulfilled in a timely manner by managing risk and compliance practices across sgfleet Australia and New Zealand.
- Contribute towards the development and implementation of Risk and compliance frameworks including all associated policies, tools, governance frameworks and monitoring reports
- Maintain and enhance the company’s Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) system including adequate and timely risk reporting to stakeholders
- Identify and assess risks and advice relevant stakeholders on the risk management approach and ensure risks are managed per the company’s risk appetite and governance principles
- Support and coordinate monitoring activities to ensure compliance with applicable legal, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Assist with reviewing, amending, and implementing programs, policies and plans necessary to facilitate business continuity management
- Support the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and security risk assessments in alignment with the Group’s Info Sec Policies and International Standards
- Maintain and improve the company's ISO standards programs and ensure ongoing external ISO certification (Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, and Information Security)
Essential
- Solid previous experience in similar Operational Risk, Information Security, Compliance or Audit role preferably within Technology or Financial Services sectors
- Excellent communicator both verbally & in writing, demonstrating stakeholder management, active listening, probing and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills - meets specified deadlines and reports regularly on progress
- Strong problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented, solves problems, demonstrates resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability
- Excellent self-management, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to interact with different internal and external stakeholders
Desirable
- ISO certification experience
- Previous experience in the fleet management, salary packaging or financial service industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in negotiation practices
