Junior Tyre Fitter

About the role

Tyre business in the Upper Hunter is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Tyre Fitter to join our team. As a Junior Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres for a diverse range of vehicles. This is a full-time position based in Muswellbrook, NSW 2333.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the removal, repair, and replacement of tyres on a variety of vehicles
• Carefully inspecting tyres and wheels for any signs of damage or wear
• Accurately balancing and aligning wheels to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Participating in regular maintenance and servicing of workshop equipment
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Providing excellent customer service and answering any questions or concerns
• On the job training including wheel alignments. 

What we're looking for

• A passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in tyre maintenance and repair
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
• A positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
• A willingness to learn and develop your skills
• Relevant experience in the automotive industry is preferred, but not essential
