We are currently seeking a Digital Printer Operator to join our team to manage the production process. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Operate the printer to produce high-quality, large-format printed sheets of corrugated cardboard. 
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure uninterrupted operation. 
  • Load and unload corrugated cardboard sheets on the printer. 
  • Inspect materials and final products to meet quality standards. 
  • Organise and schedule print orders to meet due dates and customer requirements. 
  • Maintain detailed production records and ensure timely completion of all jobs. 
  • Work closely with the graphic designer to review artwork files and ensure accurate alignment with specifications. 
  • Handle file preparation and adjustments as needed for production. 
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace. 
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure materials are stocked for production. 
  • Operate manual handling equipment such as trolleys and pallet jacks safely and effectively

About you:

  • Hands-on experience with digital printing equipment or similar machinery is highly desirable. 
  • Understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in operating large-format printers or similar production equipment. 
  • Basic understanding of print file formats and graphic artwork preparation. 
  • Capability to lift, load, and unload corrugated cardboard sheets. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment. 
  • Strong time-management and ability to meet tight deadlines. 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision. 
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with designers and team members. 
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset. 

Candidate requirements:

  • Prior experience in the packaging, printing, warehousing, or operations industry is required. 
  • A valid driver’s license is required. 
  • Forklift license (desirable)
