At Arra Group, we are recruiting for experienced Electrical Fitter and Electricians with an Immediate start for ongoing work in Osborne Park and Bassendean locations in Perth

We have 2 roles available NOW - START DATE - ASAP 

Electrical Fitter - Bassendean - ONGOING - Day shift and Afternoon shift 

Pay rate - $57.42 + penalties + super (day) and $68.90 + penalties + super (afternoon)

About the Role

Working at a heavy maintenance facility in Bassendean, Perth, overhaul and maintenance of Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) and Locomotive components, including wheel motors, alternators, traction motors, and more.

Its a Rotating Roster Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2.30 pm and Afternoon Shift:  Monday to Thursday, 1.30 pm - 10.30 pm, Friday 1.30 pm - 7.30 pm with opportunities for overtime

Duties

• Disassembling, inspecting, requalifying, and reassembling HME and Locomotive components.
• Measuring and inspecting critical journals and bores.
• Conducting brazing and insulation of cable and winding joints.
• Performing requalification inspections of bearings and pinions.
• Conducting acceptance no-load testing on components, including vibration analysis.

About You

• Electrical Fitter or Electrical Machine Repair trade qualification or an experienced electrician looking to upgrade 
• Experience with AC & DC traction motors, alternators, or rotating electrical equipment.
• Experience with GE or EMD motors and related equipment is a plus

 

Electrician - Osborne Park - 1 -2 month work assignment to work with a government hospital - general maintenace work - Day shift

Pay rate - $55 an hour - $57 an hour + Super
