About us

We are a family owned and managed small business working in the Plumbing & Roofing trades throughout SEQ. We primarily work within the Commercial Maintenance sector where we have long standing customers that engage us to work on their industrial, high rise, shopping centre and body corporate portfolios. We take pride in our work and are protective of our reputation within the industry and look to employ people with the same regard to morals, integrity and honesty that see us continue to grow year on year. The business is overseen by the Managing Director, who will work alongside the successful applicant. We are an easy-going company to work for with majority of all stuff being long standing employees. We reward our staff and put a focus on family first and making sure our staff are happy, content and looked after at all times. We are hoping to secure someone for a long-term role.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience in managing or working in a trade-based business will be essential to long term success. Specifically Plumbing & Roofing however we are welcoming all comers with a trade background and up to 5 years post apprenticeship experience.
• Experience in using software such as ServiceM8, simPRO etc.
• A basic understanding of the construction industry & quoting/estimating

Tasks & responsibilities

• Scheduling of up to 15 tradesmen based on locations and skill sets (most tradesmen working in pairs)
• Liaising with clients in a friendly and professional manner and maintaining positive relationships
• Ensuring smooth day to day running of the business
• Ordering of materials and booking plant etc
• Vetting of job reports and quotes prior to sending
• Overseeing of WH&S protocols
• The potential for onsite meetings for quoting purposes and also lunches and events with key clients on the odd occasion
