ABOUT YOU

If you're driven and self-motivated to succeed, have excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for outstanding customer service, we would love to hear from you! Previous exposure to product selling is advantageous, and if you have a background in car sales, that's an added bonus! However, we're also open to talking with candidates with transferable sales skills from industries like retail, real estate, or insurance. We value attitude and drive, and we're ready to train and develop the right candidate on our systems, processes and proven sales strategies.

THE ROLE 

As a valued member of our team, you will:

  • Follow up on sales leads - including showroom walk-ins, and phone and internet leads - and respond to customer inquiries
  • Complete accurate data entry and documentation for a seamless sales process
  • Deliver high quality customer service to encourage purchase and repeat business
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, demonstrating their benefits to meet customer needs
  • Assist with vehicle and showroom presentation and confidently present vehicles to our dealership guests
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth sales process, including working closely with our Finance and Insurance and Car Care staff to promote our products and deliver maximum benefit to our customers

Skills & Experience: Essential:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Refined customer service skills with a focus on delivering outstanding experiences
  • Professional, approachable and well presented 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Effective negotiation and sales closing skills
  • Computer literacy and the discipline to maintain daily activities and sales data
  • Willingness to learn new processes, systems, sales strategies and standards
  • Availability to work Saturdays on a rotating 10-day fortnight roster (with a midweek day off in lieu)
  • Valid TAS manual driver's license

Desirable:

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of success and exceeding targets
