Caretaker

We are seeking a motivated individual for this part time caretaker role.

This is a live-in position with a 1 bedroom apartment part of the renumeration package.

The contracted hours are 20 per week and this will be spread over a 7 day period with the majority of hours being Monday to Friday however there is an expectation that some after hours call outs may be required.

The property is an over 55's lifestyle village and consists of 39 residential and 5 medical suites, with several common facilities such as a swimming pool and bowling green. This is a hands on position that requires the successful person to be proactive, motivated and have exceptional communication skills.

The successful applicant will be employed by the strata company and is required to live on the property.

Main Tasks

Cleaning
Minor gardening
General minor maintenance of common property
Reporting & Working with the Council of Owners to ensure the property is maintained to the highest standard.

Required qualities

Previous experience
Experience in commercial or domestic cleaning and ground maintenance
Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Positive attitude & attention to detail
Permanent residency
Police Clearance
