Are you tired of working in the city rat race, stuck in traffic, working in multiple gardens in a day with no time to nurture your creative talent? 

We are looking for a special person to join our small team of passionate and skilled gardeners, living the horticultural dream, working in only high-end country gardens designed by some of Australia’s top garden designers in Daylesford, Kyneton, Hesket, Woodend and surrounds. 

This is a full time position and a unique opportunity to free you from the restraints of suburban gardening with the chance to expand your horticultural knowledge and experience, whilst breathing in the fresh country air.

What we offer –

• Working exclusively in high-end ornamental, professionally designed and built gardens.
• Working in only one garden per day (some clients are even two full days per week!)
• Above award rate and all entitlements. $72,000 - $79,000 per year + super (based on experience).
• Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm. Weekends and overtime optional but not required.

What we need from you –

• An unrelenting, artisan like passion for creative gardening.
• At least 3+ years experience in ornamental gardening, with skills like hedge and topiary pruning, plant id, pest and disease id. Irrigation knowledge preferred.
• Fitness. This isn’t a wander around a ¼ acre block, we move around some serious acreage so you will need to be fit.
• Good communication skills. We are a happy, friendly team who love our job and like to talk (while we work of course). We also enjoy interacting with our clients on a regular basis.
• Current Victorian drivers licence and a reliable vehicle.
