About the business

Field Service Based Auto Electrical company, specialising in heavy duty auto electrics and automotive air conditioning.  Located near Ulverstone, servicing companies in the northern half of Tasmania.  

 

 

About the role

The role will assist tradesmen working on a variety of equipment and machinery.  Work involves repairing breakdowns and setting up new vehicles and upgrading equipment.  Work will occur in workshop and on customers sites.  Generally Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.

Skills and experience

Willing to accept applications for those wishing to start a new apprenticeship as a first year or from those partially complete.  

Selection criteria includes:

Have basic mechanical aptitude.

Have an eye for detail.  

Ability to use initiative.

Basic literacy skills.

Commitment to safe working practices, including spatial awareness, as we conduct work in high risk areas including roadside breakdowns, on wharfs and in busy civil construction sites.  

Ability to work as a member of a team and individually, and work alongside different personalities in the workplace.  

Excellent work ethic.  

Drivers License (or in process of obtaining).
