About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Roof Plumber to join our team at JBC roofing in Melbourne VIC . In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair roofing systems, of metal roofs
• Install new roofing systems, gutters, and downpipes
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventative work on roofing structures
• Ensure adherence to relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver high-quality projects

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Roof Plumber or similar role in the construction/trades industry
• Formal qualifications in plumbing, including a relevant trade certificate or diploma
• Excellent knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and repair procedures
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
