About the business and the role

 

Tynic is an industry leader in the field of Engineering Plastics and machined components. With state of the art CNC Routers, Lathes & Mills as well as manual machinery, Tynic is positioned well to provide excellent on the job training for our next apprentice.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

 

• Use of hand tools
• Operation of manual machinery such as lathes and milling machines
• Operation of CNC machinery such as routers, lathes and milling machines
• Programming with SolidCAM 3D software

 

Skills and experience

 

• School leaver with a technical aptitude
• 1st or 2nd year apprentice

Preference will be given to those wanting to complete years 11 or 12 in 2023 with the possibility of 2 weeks work experience during the school holiday period to gauge interest and suitability.
