Role Responsibilities

As a Sign Maker at Signup Road Signs, you will:

• Perform basic graphics work using Adobe Illustrator.
• Operate the HP Latex 365 printer for high-quality sign prints.
• Utilize the MultiCam 3015 Router for precision cutting of 1.6mm aluminum signs.
• Apply 3M substrate onto aluminum on rolling tables.
• Cut aluminum rails, drill, and rivet signs to rails.
• Store signs for pickup and manage inventory.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
• Track wastage and monitor stock levels.
• Update tracking software with project statuses and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Project Coordinators and Managers to prioritize tasks.
• Assist with moving signs and handling deliveries as needed.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Minimum of a High School education.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in making road signs.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience operating the HP Latex 365 printer and MultiCam Router.
  • Familiarity with tools such as circular saws, electric drills, and tape measures.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Diligent administrative skills for updating CRM systems.

• Personal Traits: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
• Certifications: Not required.

• Salary: Starting from $50,000+ per annum, commensurate with experience.

Additional Information

• Career Growth: Opportunities to advance to Warehouse Manager as our manufacturing operations expand.
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with some flexibility.
• Special Requirements:
  • Must pass a police check.
  • Reference checks.
  • Drug and alcohol testing (prior to commencement and randomly for government clients).
