The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join the Minor Works Team and ensure the overall effective and efficient maintenance of irrigation systems for an established client base across South Australia. This will include:

• Undertake general maintenance of irrigation systems, including fault finding and repairs (i.e. valve and sprinkler replacements).
• Conduct audits of existing irrigation systems across multiple sites. 
• Manage minor irrigation installations.
• Engage with staff, clients and members of the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Adhere to all work health and safety guidelines and best practices including incident reporting.

 

About You:

• Technical Irrigation qualification and/or equivalent experience.
• Previous landscape and irrigation industry experience as well as the ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and specifications.
• Positive attitude and work ethic.
• A track record of producing quality work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Current White Card, Police and DHS clearances are required (or willing to obtain).
