TRAINEE BELT TECHNICAN

Chiorino Australia Pty Ltd specialises in manufacturing high quality Conveyor & Transmission Belts using the latest technology. The company is owned by Chiorino Spa which is a privately-owned Italian Family Business that has been operating for over 118 years.

We currently have a position for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Belt Splicer who is a keen learner to start at our Melbourne office is Dandenong South

Responsibilities:

• Belt splicing, repairs, maintenance and installations of fabric and solid woven belt;
• Identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair; and
• Safety and quality compliance.

  
Must Haves:

• A strong commitment to safety and quality;
• Valid Driver’s Licence; and
• Willingness to work outside of hours as required.

  
Nice to Haves:

• WH&S Construction Induction (White Card)
• Forklift License
