HD Fitter

About us:
Join Eastern Guruma's workshop crew and contribute to the maintenance and repair of our expanding fleet of heavy vehicles, including haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers and other plant equipment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for;

• Maintaining and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
• You’ll be part of a dynamic team, working on Solomon mine site to deliver high-quality service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair work on a wide range of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics for diagnostics and repairs.
• Collaborate with other HD fitters across multiple sites to ensure the fleet operates at peak performance.
• Use computer systems to identify parts, liaise with vendors, and secure quotes for maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and contribute to a safe working environment.

 

Key Criteria:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Essential)
• HR Licence (Essential)
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong computer literacy, with experience in maintenance management systems and parts procurement.
