Mtec are currently seeking an experienced trades assistant and MR truck driver to join our  motivated & dynamic earthmoving equipment mechanical workshop team.

What's on offer

• Full time Trades Assistant/MR Truck Driver position in our Singleton Rebuild Workshop
• Duties will include deliveries and pick ups of inwards and outwards goods in the Hunter Region
• Whenever not carrying out deliveries the primary role will be to support the Mtec store and workshop trades
• Store duties include stock management, forklift operation, parts & component cleaning, yard management.
• Trades assistant duties will include assisting mechanical & electrical & boilermakers with workshop tasks

About You

• Must be self motivated to carry out all functions of the role, including the trades assistant portion of the role.
• Must be willing to follow instructions required to complete tasks
• Requirement to be available for overtime as dictated by business workflow
• Demonstrate a professional company & customer focused attitude
• Must have a clean Australian minimum MR Truck licence and forklift HRWL
• Must be eligible to work in Australia
• Ability to pass or have a current Order 43 Coal Board Medical  
• Ability to adhere to safe work practices, policies and procedures
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
