Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic/Tyre Fitter/Wheel Aligner

About the role

Autosport Tyre World is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic/Tyre Fitter/Wheel Aligner to join our team in Magill, South Australia. This full-time position is responsible for performing a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks, as well as fitting tyres and aligning wheels.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnostics and servicing

Repair and replace faulty or worn-out vehicle components and parts

Fit and balance new tyres, and perform wheel alignments

Advise customers on the condition of their vehicle and recommended repairs or services

Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working order

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with safety regulations

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in light vehicle mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

Extensive experience as a qualified mechanic, with demonstrated expertise in vehicle servicing, repairs and tyre fitting

Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve vehicle issues

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

A valid driver's licence and own transport
