Estimator - Yatala

• Monday to Friday | Salary | Onsite Parking | $100k-120k + Super

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The role will be based in the Fleet & Engineering Division of JJ's which is responsible for the design, manufacture and ongoing maintenance of all the company’s fleet. 

This position is a permanent, full time, based onsite at Yatala.

On a day to-day basis, this role will involve:

• Price/forecast the cost of the different Engineering / Automotive products 
• Track changes to the design and/or work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
• Provide detailed reports concerning manufacturing 
• Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials
• Analyse costs for maintenance and additional building need
• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
• Identify potential financial risks

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in a similar role within Transport / Logistics, Engineering or Manufacturing
• Degree or Diploma or proven work-related experience
• Prior experience as an Estimator
• Ability to support the analytics and /or data interpretation of metrics/KPIs
• Superior ability to gather, evaluate and analyse data 
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening skills
• Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual, with minimal supervision
