The Role:

We are currently seeking a hands-on Workshop Manager to join the team at our Largs Bay Depot. This is a critical dual role which will see you both on the tools as well as in the office, managing and maintaining LCS company vehicles, plant, equipment, tools, and other assets. This will include:

• Overseeing the workshop, ensuring the depot is maintained in a tidy condition and implementing process improvements and workshop efficiencies.
• Undertake the servicing of small motor equipment and trailers within the fleet, including general repair of broken tools and equipment etc.
• Outsource the general maintenance, servicing and repairs to all larger vehicles, plant and machinery.
• Undertake maintenance and service tracking documentation for records management purposes.
• Provide back up support to field teams with the preparation and delivery of materials and equipment to sites.

 

About You:

• Previous experience in a workshop coordination and or plant/asset maintenance type role or similar.
• Mechanical servicing skills with the ability to perform general plant, equipment and tool minor repairs.
• MR License (desirable). 
• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in computer and technology-based tools and systems.
• Attention to detail and a track record of producing quality work.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
